Media Committee

* Objectives of the committee:-

Coordinates ICOP’s media efforts, such as:-

• Making contacts with the different mass media, scientific, university, Fiqh and Shari’a authorities along with cultural institutions for the purpose of prompting the Project and related activities, research results and observations.
• Preparing for the Project conferences and contributions to regional and international conferences.
• Distributing the official Project statements to the different mass media.
• Coordinating with the audiovisual and printed mass media for holding scientific meetings intended to publish correct scientific information on the Project objectives and interests.
• Preparing annual reports on the Project activities and submitting same to the Administrative Board.
• Following-up on the Project website tasks via the internet such as:
  • Adding, deleting and coordinating information on the website.
  • Adding, deleting and coordinating website structure.
  • Presenting the “website” in Arabic and English as soon as possible.
  • Studying options for setting up the website in some of the most-widely used Islamic languages.
  • Studying possible website improvements and enhancements.
  • Studying, analyzing and disclosure of information delivered to the Project.
