ICOP member Dr. Jalal Eddin Khanji will participate in the Eighth National Fair in Popular Astronomy which is organized by Sirius Society and will be held in Constantine / Algeria during the period 30 October  to  02 November 2009 in the context of the World Space Week celebrations and it also coincides with the commemoration of the 1st of November 1954 uprising, which started the Algerian war of liberation as the organizing committee said .

Dr. Khanji will produce a  session about "Juristic Astronomy for youth". The salon will be more international this year with the participation of numerous Arabic and international parties .

The activities of the salon include puplic  lectures, shows, specialized workshops  and observations in addition to touristic and cultural  activity.
