ICOP AB has nominated Mr. Hasan Al-Hariri to represent ICOP in the First Arab Youth  Fair for Astronomy which will be held in Gherdaya/Algeria during the period 30 October 2009 to 04 November 2009 in the context of the world space week celebrations.

ICOP participates in this conference responding to the invitation received from the organizing committee .

 The activities include  lectures, shows, specialized workshops, contests, scientific exhibition   and observations in addition to touristic and cultural  activity.

 The scientific committee is composed of four Algerian  astronomical  organizations . The organizing committee choose the theme:

"Who hasn't a location in the space , will not have one on  the Earth."
